This weekend, we'll celebrate VBS Sunday with songs from the week and a look at how God is good all the time! Please join us to celebrate our first full week of VBS for the summer!

VBS Day 2 is wrapping up soon with the end of the afternoon session. Even when life is scary, God is good! “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.” Psalm 23:4

Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Last month, the CLC Military Ministry hosted a cookout at Camp Atterbury. The service men and women there were super appreciative of the good meal and support from our congregation. Thanks to everyone who donated desserts and/or wrote letters of support!

The first day of VBS at CLC Carmel has wrapped up! We had a great morning session and afternoon session. Today, we learned that even when life is unfair, God is good! The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. Nahum 1:7

Carmel VBS is underway!

The Carmel Worship Center is looking for volunteers to usher/greet, read and serve communion for the 4:45 Saturday and 8:30 and 10:35 Sunday services. Please contact the church office (317.814.4252) to sign up to help.

CLC Indy will be partaking in the Englewood Neighborhood spring cleanup on Saturday, June 8th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. The clean up with happen in conjunction with Englewood Church's Second Saturday workdays, with a dumpster and supplies coming from Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. We'll meet in the Englewood Church parking lot that morning. If you're interested in helping or have any questions, please email Lindsey Thompson ([email protected]).

Some great parenting advice from the CDC: "Continue to read to your child. Nurture her love for books by taking her to the library or bookstore."

The hallways have sure been quiet at CLC Carmel! We miss our preschooler friends but hope they're all having a great summer so far!
